Opportunity Review: a developed strategic report
For a fuller explanation of reasoning, scenarios and open questions about a specific opportunity. The report is deeper; the diligence perimeter is not wider.
When the report fits better than a brief
Choose a developed account of assumptions, risks and questions for discussion. The report runs 8–12 pages; the brief is a 2–3-page synthesis.
Same perimeter, more explanation
Participant and document limits match the brief. The longer report does not add legal, tax, accounting, financial or technical diligence.
A defined result, not an open-ended hour bank.
- Interviews with investor and willing founders
- Bounded document review
- 8–12 page strategic report and final session
One opportunity brought by the investor, one investor decision-maker and up to two founders who voluntarily participate. Without their participation, a different document-only engagement would need to be scoped.
Up to five documents/50 pages in total, a three-tab financial workbook and the project's existing public website. Personal reports go only to each participant.
The boundaries matter.
- Other people's personal reports
- Return guarantee
- Complete specialist diligence
First we discuss fit and confirm the participants, material, timing and conditions in writing. A visit or enquiry is not a booking.
If personal assessment is involved, it requires prior information and voluntary participation. NBH does not issue clinical diagnoses or investment recommendations.
Prepare my enquiryWhat changes compared with the brief?
More reasoning and scenarios, not more documents or participants.
Is specialist due diligence included?
No. It should be commissioned from the relevant specialists if needed.
Who receives each report?
Each participant receives only their personal report. The investor receives the strategic opportunity report within the agreed scope.
