Opportunity Review: an executive brief for a specific startup

For an investor bringing a startup and needing a short strategic summary. The brief organises findings and open questions; it is not an investment recommendation.

The decision

What we review and with whom

We speak with the investor first. Up to two founders can participate voluntarily after introductions and agreement on scope. We review the business, execution and bounded documentation.

Scope in context

A brief, not full due diligence

The 2–3-page brief supports a decision discussion. It does not replace specialist legal, tax, accounting, financial or technical diligence.

What you receive

A defined result, not an open-ended hour bank.

  • Interviews with investor and willing founders
  • Bounded document review
  • 2–3 page executive brief and final session
Scope and conditions

One opportunity brought by the investor, one investor decision-maker and up to two founders who voluntarily participate. Without their participation, a different document-only engagement would need to be scoped.

Up to five documents/50 pages in total, a three-tab financial workbook and the project's existing public website. Personal reports go only to each participant.

Not included

The boundaries matter.

  • Other people's personal reports
  • Return guarantee
  • Complete specialist diligence
Next step

First we discuss fit and confirm the participants, material, timing and conditions in writing. A visit or enquiry is not a booking.

If personal assessment is involved, it requires prior information and voluntary participation. NBH does not issue clinical diagnoses or investment recommendations.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to bring a startup?

Yes. This base price is for a specific opportunity brought by the investor.

What if the founders cannot participate?

A different document-only engagement would need to be scoped. This price does not cover a complete bilateral review without them.

Can I receive personal reports?

No. Each participant receives only their own personal report; the investor receives the agreed strategic brief.
